What We Collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and company name.
  • Event and delivery details — event date, venue, delivery or pickup address, bump-in and bump-out times, and any notes you add to your order.
  • Artwork and reference files you send us for your order or quote request.
  • Order records — the items ordered, amounts, delivery method and order status.
  • Enquiry details — the brief, project type and dimensions you supply when requesting a custom quote.
  • We do not collect sensitive information, and we do not require you to create an account to place an order.
02

How We Collect It

  • Directly from you, through the checkout, custom quote and contact forms on this website.
  • Directly from you when you email, call or message us.
  • Automatically, in limited form, through website analytics — see Cookies & Analytics below.
03

Payment Information

  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider on its own secure hosted checkout pages.
  • Your card number, expiry and security code are entered on those pages and are never received, seen or stored by Media Wall Co.
  • We receive only a payment reference, the amount, the payment status and the contact details you provided with your order.
  • Card information is handled by our payment provider under its own privacy policy and payment-industry security standards.
04

How We Use It

  • To process and fulfil your order, including artwork proofs, production, delivery, installation and collection.
  • To send order confirmations and keep you updated on the progress of your order.
  • To prepare and send quotes and respond to your enquiries.
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and warranty purposes.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
05

Who We Share It With

  • Service providers who help us run this website and fulfil your order — payment processing, email delivery, address lookup and hosting. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.
  • When you type in the delivery address field, what you type is sent to our mapping provider so it can suggest matching Australian addresses.
  • Freight carriers, installers and venue contacts — only the details needed to deliver, install and collect your order.
  • Government agencies or other parties where we are required or authorised by law to disclose information.
  • Some of these providers process or store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
  • If you would like to know which providers we use, email info@mediawallco.com.au and we will tell you.
06

Cookies & Analytics

  • Your cart is stored in your own browser’s local storage so your items are still there when you return. It is not transmitted to us until you check out.
  • We use a third-party website analytics service to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some conveniences may not.
07

Artwork & Uploaded Files

  • Files you send us are used solely to produce your order or to prepare your quote.
  • File names, types and sizes are recorded against your enquiry; the files themselves are sent to our team by email rather than published.
  • We do not claim ownership of your artwork. Intellectual property in supplied artwork is dealt with in our Terms & Conditions.
08

Marketing & Photography

  • We may email you about your order at any time — those messages are part of fulfilling it, not marketing.
  • Our Terms & Conditions allow us to photograph completed installations and finished products for marketing, our website and our portfolio.
  • You can opt out of that use by telling us in writing before your event — reply to your order confirmation, note it in the additional notes field at checkout, or email info@mediawallco.com.au.
09

Storage & Security

  • Order and enquiry records are held in our business systems, accessible only to authorised staff.
  • Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payment details never pass through our systems.
  • We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires us to keep it.
  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
10

Access, Correction & Deletion

  • You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Email info@mediawallco.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period.
  • We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some records must be retained where the law requires it.
11

Complaints

  • If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@mediawallco.com.au so we can try to resolve it.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
